All of the Shaq talk got me thinking. For better or worse, Shaq will be used to go after Free Agents. And he should be good at that. But what if the solution that Vivek et al are hoping for at the SF position is currently in Miami.
I know crazy.
But Shaq is part owner of the Kings...I mean, that's pretty freaking crazy, right?
So, Mullin and Shaq apparently knew for months before they were hired/bought in that they would be involved. Yet, they weren't announced. Wouldn't this, in theory, give them a chance to talk to whomever they wanted about joining Sacramento?
We'll have the cap room. If DMC keeps his head out of his butt (IF ONLY) we'll have one of the best bigmen in the game. We know LBJ likes KJ and has big aspirations for a) being global and b) being more than a B-Ball player. Sacramento, suddenly, shockingly, isn't totally laughable. I think.
Frankly, if I had to bet, I'd say LBJ is most likely to go to Cleveland and second most likely to stay where he is. But what if? Am I crazy?
But here's what Vivek gave me: I seriously asked the question, could Lebron be a King, and I didn't bust a rib laughing at myself. How long ago does last pre-season seem?
