I'll start out by saying that I'm insanely grateful that Vivek and his group purchased the Kings and kept them here in Sacramento. In fact if it wasn't for him keeping my Kings in Sac, I wouldn't be able to complain about our recent moves, that I'm so glad we are still able to make. This thought process brings me to my problem. How can I be so thankful for all Vivek has done, and be so supportive of him, yet not like his first big 3 moves as our owner? It all started with not having any interest in Tyreke, and actually offering a much older Iguodala much more money than they were willing to give Tyreke. After a few weeks of disappointment, I got over it and realized people have different opinions with players. Then we signed Landry... a big man who doesn't block shots, which I'd like to argue we have plenty of. Last but not least we just gave our center, who hasn't yet been an all-star in this league, or has shown the right mentality to get there, a max contract. Now don't get me wrong, I love what Demmarcus brings to the table, in terms of skill. But he hasn't showed us that he can lead a team, or at least win games through him, with his maturity. So is anyone else on this boat with me? Where you want to be so supportive of Vivek, because well... he saved our team! Yet it's getting hard to do with the recent transactions we've made? Well I'm not ready to be upset with him yet, but a few more moves I don't agree with, I'm not sure I'll be able to hold up. But I guess that's why I'm not the billionaire! IN VIVEK WE TRUST!
