This recent IT trade reminded of something, that none of us posting on here are NBA GM's or Owners. We are all entitled to our opinions, and we should all respect others, but with great sports blogs this one comes that dark underside. The side where the mods can feel like they are 100% right, the one where armchair GMs come out of their holes to disagree with anything that sounds weird to them, and the instant reaction of disappointment.
Isaiah Thomas is my favorite player in the NBA, and was my favorite King. I am sad to see him go, but since his departure this site has become a bloodbath. The kicker is, no one knows what they are talking about. It's still the off-season, hell the off-season isn't even over yet. I can no longer go on speculating (as fun as it can be) on how our team will be with a bunch of people who feel like they know better than our GM. This went from a place of intellectual discussion to monkey poop throwing contest. There were still good points made on both sides, but were the vast minority.
It's time to step back until the season and wait to form an educated opinion on the moves. We know it freed up cap space, now lets wait to see if it helps our team.
