What an 8% reduction in Usage Rate at the 1 means to the 2 and 4

Remember last season when we'd face-palm when Isaiah seemingly ignored Ben when he was wide open? Or when the 4 never got fed the ball (not counting when coach called a play specifically for JT, only to have us watch in horror)

Disclaimer: this is not a dig on IT, but on a losing system. Whether or not Isaiah is or isn't a shoot-first PG, not finding the open man for the easy shot isn't good basketball, and with all of Isaiah's amazing acrobatics and gravity-defying plays, at the end of the day it takes a team to win--not one guy trying to do it all.

Considering it was IT's contract year, I don't blame him for trying to. I even respect him for it. But if we're trying to win as a team, our Big 3 might be a little too big for their own good.

I've done extensive, exhaustive research (that only my eyes back up) and can confidently say that an 8% reduction in Usage Rate at the 1 will give more opportunity for team basketball and more opportunity for our 2 and 4 spots.

IT is my favorite player on this team, so it's hard for me to imagine him leaving. But as I try to look on the brighter side, my crystal ball sees a more balanced team with more ball movement. And if Petey D and coach do their job right, a more productive supporting cast for Collison, Boogie and Rudy.
