According to RealGM the Kings are one of 3 teams that are in "strong" discussions with Free Agent Julyan Stone who was recently waived by Toronto. The Bucks and 76ers are the other two teams interested in Stone.
Stone is a 6'6 G who is considered a "pure-point guard', something the Kings are looking for. His stats in the NBA aren't very impressive but he did only average 7 minutes a game. In 4 seasons at UTEP he averaged 5.8 points, 5.1 assists and 5.4 rebounds. In his senior season he averaged 8.4 points, 5.2 assists and 7.4 rebounds. He can do a bit of everything and is considered a solid defender due to his height and length for the PG position.
He seems like he could be a nice pick up, the Kings may be looking at signing him and putting him in the D League and see how he goes but i feel he could fit quite nicely off the bench for the Kings.
