Kings Make Iggy their #1 offseason priority...?

I hope they make a play before Reke does. I'd personally prefer Reke to Iggy if it's an either/or proposition.

Carmichael Dave is back

1140 "will launch a new Sports Talk morning show with longtime radio host Keith Brooks and the return of Carmichael Dave inside the KHTK studios."

Mr. V on McLemore

"Ben’s story is the stuff of legend. This is the story of triumph and hard work over adversity – success against all odds. This is the stuff movies are made of. This is a young man (who), when he was a kid, didn’t know where his next meal was going to come from, and he went on to become part of and shine at one of the country’s great basketball programs. I know what Ben’s motto is ‘Stay humble, stay hungry,’ and these are words we can live by, as well."

Tyreke Not Worth It?

Sam Amick ‏@sam_amick 45m I've been told 4 years, approx $48 million on Evans' offer. @daldridgetnt has it at $44 million. Either way, doubt Kings would match either.

reke for 44-48 million

would you pay 44 million for 4years for reke

Pelicans have made Tyreke Evans a 'lucrative offer' per Sam Amick.

Sean Deveney says 4 years 40 million.

Dwight Howard article on

One part that bothered me... "His main focus was winning and we will give him the best opportunity to do that," Parsons told Yahoo! Sports’ Marc Spears. What's up with a lot of these "star" players not willing to be THE ONE on the team? I know its a team sport but it seems like players are looking to go a team where they think it'll be easier to win. If what Cousins says is true about wanting to be a part of the turn around, then I'm a little bit happier that we have him right now.

Kings to speak with Iguodala and interested in Oden

"Denver Nuggets free-agent forward Andre Iguodala has a long day of meetings scheduled in Los Angeles on Monday. He's expected to speak with the Nuggets, New Orleans Pelicans, Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, Detroit Pistons and Atlanta Hawks, a source told Yahoo! Sports. New Nuggets coach Brian Shaw and general manager Tim Connelly will attend the team's meeting with Iguodala. New Kings general manager Pete D'Alessandro was assistant GM in Denver during Iguodala’s season there. – Marc J. Spears, 3:47 a.m. ET, July 1" "Oden, 25,has received interest from the Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs, Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, Sacramento Kings, Indiana Pacers and Memphis Grizzlies, league sources said. The No. 1 pick in the 2007 NBA draft hasn’t played since Dec. 5, 2009, because of multiple knee injuries."

Asik and Lin on trading block; Houston "already has" Dwight

The Kings should go for Asik. He's one of the best defensive bigs in the league, somehow turning those Rockets into a respectable team on that end despite starting the likes of Lin, Harden and Delfino. Thoughts? Rockets may be interested in JT, and would probably jump for Isaiah if we offered
