Here We Rally at Cesar Chavez Park Today!
Today from 5-8 PM, the city of Sacramento, in conjunction with the NBA and the Kings, will be holding a big rally in downtown Sacramento at Cesar Chavez Park. Former Sacramento Kings greats Doug Christie (aka the man who punched Rick Fox in the face and did some other things too) and Scot Pollard (aka the man of a million hairstyles) will be there, coach Paul Westphal will be there, along with several other special guests.
If that isn't enough for you to come out, just to boot, there will be a live performance by Sacramento's very own TESLA, followed by fireworks!
This will be the last Kings-related celebration in a while before we get back to work on winning this war and getting an arena built, so make sure you come out and be a part of it. Try to wear Purple or anything Kings related, and most importantly have fun. This event is for you guys, the fans, and you deserve it.

Here We Stayed Celebration on Friday
We fought, we chanted, we yelled, and we cried. Now its time for us to have a moment of celebration. Here We Stay, Thunder Valley and Hot 103.5 are partnering up this Friday, May 6th, for a "Here We Stayed" event for all Kings fans from 6:00-9:00 PM.
Everyone 18 and up is invited to come. There will be live music, free appetizers, a no host bar, and a free raffle. Expect some special speakers as well. RSVP to the Event on its Facebook page.
We know we have a lot of work ahead of us. This fight isn't over. But a major battle was won in this war yesterday, and that's cause enough to celebrate before getting back to work.
Go Kings!

Here We Stay Won't Stop on Feb. 28th
While the February 28th game against the Clippers is our official "Here We Stay" night, we can't let the momentum stop there, especially with the decision to relocate or not being extended past the original March 1st date.
The Kings have 12 more home games (including the Clippers game) and we want to try to sell out each and every one of them. This is a lofty goal, perhaps unattainable in this economy. But this is our last chance to make a statement to the Maloofs, the city, and the NBA that this is OUR team and we're not going to go down without a fight.
So if you've been thinking about coming to a game, buy a ticket or two. Let your friends know, spread the word. If you take signs to the Clippers game, keep them, bring them to other games as well, or give them to friends who will be going if you can't.
After the jump, a link to tickets to the remaining games including a count of how many tickets are still available according to Ticketmaster, as well as links to current Kings ticket packages if you want to save some money if you plan on going to more than one game. If you want to bring a group to the game, I definitely recommend calling a Kings ticket representative to get a group rate and avoid Ticketmaster fees.

Kings Media Day: Impressions
I had the good fortune of attending the Media Day Fracas at ARCO Arena today, along with Tom Ziller (or rather the person carrying the computer that calls itself T0M Z1ll3R), and our very own jjham15. A lot of other people were there as well, Rob Small (aka rc360) of Sacramento Press, Zach Harper from Cowbell Kingdom, and of course Jason Jones. All of them are great guys and it was nice meeting them in person finally.
The setup was a little annoying, as it was hard to get to talk to the players unless you noticed them really quickly. Tyreke was surrounded really quickly, and knowing Tyreke, we didn't even bother to stick our cameras or voice recorders in there because we knew we'd barely hear anything anyway. Still, I did get to talk to and hear from a lot of players so here are some of my impressions after the jump. I have some video I shot as well that I'll probably post sometime later.

Kings Tickets For Sale - Volunteer Blogger Takes Advantage Of Editorial Status
The following is nothing more than a season ticket holder with access attempting to shill some of his tickets. Disinterested parties should move on, though you run the risk of missing out on boffo yucks in the ticket listings.)
[Update - The Kings are playing a smoke & mirrors game with the actual game pricing at the moment. That is, the price on my tickets may not be the price on the actual individual game ticket. I will honor whatever price they eventually announce - I think that their announcement is coming very shortly. My apologies for any confusion that this may have caused.]
As was the case last year, I have several Kings games for sale. The tickets are located in section 214 (of course!), row G, seats 11-12, 2nd deck, half court view. Anyone that has sat in these seats in the past will verify that the view is the best in the house for the money (not counting buying a $10 ticket and sneaking down into the first few rows of the lower level).
As was the case last year, you may drop me an email if you are interested. The tickets are first come, first serve. Transactions can be handled via PayPal, check sent directly to me, or personal exchange. These are regularly $40.50 seats, but I am charging the variable seat price.
The games are:
Sactown Royalty at ARCO Arena - Quick Update
Just a flash to let everyone know that we have blocked the December 21 game (Dubs) and the February 12 game (OKC) for StR nights. We are currently working with the Kings on pricing and perks. Seats are likely to be in the same area as last year - 2nd deck, half court view. Some of the things that we are working on (but are not yet set in stone) are a player meet and greet (we have to exceed 100 tickets for a game to net that), a day of hoops on the ARCO floor (it would be a day other than the mentioned game days), and possibly an extra perk for buying into both games. More info to come in the next few weeks, but I wanted to let everyone know as you move forward with your ticket buying. Thanks!
Sactown Royalty Nights At ARCO Arena - ElectReke BoogieLoo
Members of Sactown Royalty pose for last year's inaugural StR Night At ARCO Arena.
With the new schedule out, it’s time to start planning this year’s StR Nights at ARCO Arena. For those of you new members, last year Sactown Royalty held two nights at ARCO Arena, landing discount tickets for members. Between the two nights, I believe that we purchased nearly 200 tickets, and that was without a lot of pre-planning. This year we want to get ahead of the pack, so we need to start looking at prospective nights right now.
