Recap: LA Lakers vs. LA Clippers

Sports Network | October 10, 2008

Fresno, CA (Sports Network) - Mike Taylor notched a game-high 20 points and the Los Angeles Clippers produced a 107-80 win over their city and Pacific Division rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers, at the Save Mart Center, home to Fresno State hoops.

Taylor, a rookie out of Iowa State, was 9-of-12 from the field with three boards and three helpers. Ricky Davis scored 17 with three triples and Baron Davis had seven assists and 12 points for the Clippers, who bottomed out the division last season with a dismal 23-59 showing.

Vladimir Radmanovic had a team-high 14 points with four of his five field goals from beyond the arc. Kobe Bryant matched teammates Pau Gasol and Jordan Farmar with 12 points for the Lakers, who dropped their preseason opener to Utah on Tuesday, 99-90.

The Clippers put the game out of reach by outscoring the Lakers 32-15 in the fourth quarter.
