WARNING: Tim Duncan Kicks Ass in Game Fives
A sample of Tim Duncan's Game Fives over the past few seasons when San Antonio is tied 2-2:
2003 - Second Round vs L.A. - 27 points on 22 shots, 14 rebounds, 5 assists. Spurs win game and series in 6.
2003 - Finals vs New Jersey - 29 points on 18 shots, 17 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 blocks. Spurs win game and series in 6.
2004 - Second Round vs L.A. - 21 points on 15 shots, 21 rebounds, 4 blocks. Spurs lose game (see: Derek Fisher) and series in 6.
2005 - Second Round vs Seattle - 20 points on 21 shots, 14 rebounds, 3 assists. Spurs win game and series in 6.
2005 - Finals vs Detroit - 26 points on 24 shots, 19 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks. Spurs win game and series in 7.
So yeah, he's pretty good. If he has to carry the team, he will.
Kenny Thomas has done a solid job being active on TD. I hope Adelman's not afraid to send an instant double over. Make their shooters continue their relative hot streak. Please don't let Duncan prove himself again.
Now, I may be afraid of Timmeh. But we know at least one guy on the Kings isn't.

Let's go Kings.
