It's over.

I don't have a whole lot more to say right now.
The last four months have been beyond exhilirating, and that it definitely owed to the Sacramento Kings and their great community of fans. Everything from Miller's threes against Memphis and Ron-Ron's block on Kobe, to Bibby's steal and Martin's lay-up - it's been thrilling. There have been some low points - seeing the team down by 20 in the fourth quarter of an elimination is hard to beat - but they wouldn't have happened without our expectations getting turned around by the huge turn-around that Bibby and Miller, Artest and Wells, Shareef and Thomas, Martin and Garcia, Adelman and Petrie, and Joe and Gavin were a major part of.
I'll take a Game 6 blow-out loss over sitting and twiddling my thumbs the last two weeks. It was a great run, and it fell short.
Lessening the sting, of course, is the incredibly exciting off-season ahead and the news about Darrell Steinberg getting involved in the arena push. There will be dozens of storylines in the next few weeks, and we should all be excited about that.
We all know being a Kings fan is a year-round job. And it's not over yet.

Nice season guys
Take some solace in the fact that Warriors Nation would have LOVED to have the season that you guys just had.

It hurts
To paraphrase the late, great poet T.S. Eliot, the Kings' season "...ended with a whimper, not a bang".
But, we had an interesting year. It was almost better than just sitting in the second spot in the Pacific Division all year.
Seeing how these guys went from rock bottom to giving the reigning champs a tough series was defenitely a memorable experience.
I don't blame Artest for making a promise and not following through on it. We had our chances to win this series. We just couldn't hold on to them.
I can't wait until next year. I know Petrie has something planned for the off season. He always does.
Although we lost this series, it let everyone in the NBA know that we are not f-ing around next year.

Yes, I agree!
&...I feel sorry for Goldenstate fans...their season started with a lot of promise & ended with a whimper.Very sad.
We can take solice...
Surprisingly, although the results of this season are very similar to a year ago, the feeling is entirely different. There are still question marks, sure, but at the very least there is a feeling that we are heading in the right direction.
And the Kings team of the last 40 games was infinitely more watchable than the Kings team that broke camp this season.
A Kings team that plays defense...whoda thunk it?
