Write In Kenny Thomas, NBA All-Star!

The NBA All-Star game is fast approaching, in ~~Maloof town~~... Las Vegas! On Sunday, February 18th, just over a month away, the very best in the world will take the court to show supremacy above all.

The All-Star game is your chance as a fan to make your voice heard, and see your favorite players on the world stage. That's why it's no surprise that the Sacramento Kings' NBA.com team page is asking for your help to write in not just the team's leading scorer, Kevin Martin, but also the team's leader in rebounds per game, Kenny Thomas.

As the site says:

Kevin Martin and Kenny Thomas need your help. Make sure to write-in Kevin Martin and Kenny Thomas when you cast your votes. Show your Passion 4 Purple by casting your votes now.

That's right, Sactown crew. Kenny Thomas, averaging a robust 6 points, 7.5 boards and 1.6 assists per game, is a potential all star. Did you know that KT, as we like to call him, may just be 8th on the Kings in points per game, but is second on the squad in both fouls and turnovers per contest? He's also made fully half of his free throws on the season, ahead of only Vitaly Potapenko, who still has yet to reach the charity stripe in the 2006-07 campaign.

I can't believe the Kings site even listed his name. Was it that he would be offended if he were not listed, or do they really think we're that dumb?

I'll vote. Only if they switch it to be for Heidi to play the game in Kenny's place and for him to be on the all dancer squad in her place. And, only if he wears one of those huge tacky KINGS dogtags with the pleather mini jacket, Bedazzled stripper-wear halters and hot pants. The I will vote.
