Grant Napier pretty much summed it up at the start of the third quarter.  He proclaimed the Kings had waived the white flag and he was correct.  But they had not only given up on that game they had given up on the season.  It was their way of saying "this team needs to be blown up".  This team no longer has the comradery to make themselves more than the sum of the individuals.  If Petrie fails to make at least one major trade before the deadline then the Maloofs need to replace him.

Early in the game there were two possesions in a row after HOOCH scored where no one was sure who was supposed to inbound the ball. The first time, Reef scowled at Kenny. Maybe because he blew the defensive play. The very next time, Mike stood there waiting for someone to inbound to him and he ended up tossing it in. He had a ,"Hello, I am the point guard people!" look on his face. Later in the game there were a couple of possessions in a row where Cisco hustled to get wide open and even with his yelling and arm waving no one could find him. Third example, we went a ghastly amount of time during the Hornets biggest run without a timeout.

These may not be huge moments in King's history but there was certainly a tone set by goofing up basic roles and not paying attention to teammates. At times they looked like they had never played together.
