Around SBN: Can Tebow Say No To Anything?

Wow.

Was that game even real? Down by 16 in the fourth, storm back with plenty of time left, lose the game on stupid plays or blown calls roughly three times in the final two minutes, send the game to overtime with a full-court pass with 0.7 sec left, lose the game because said shot was .005 sec too late. Too surreal for text. Where's Dali when you need him?

It's weird to say it, but I feel better about these Kings than I have since New Year's. And yes, I know the Kings just lost.

And a rousing round of applause for Mike Bibby. Yes, the day his team tries desparately to lose his contract, he has his first 30-point outing of the season in a while. Remarkable. Let's hope that chip doesn't fall off his shoulder on the plane ride to Jersey.

If you don't think we're debuting the Francisco Garcia Stud-o-Meter in the next week, you're wrong.

Re: Wow.
he nearly took arenas out of the game, figuratively speaking

Re: Wow.
Cisco's defense was superb.  Now, if we can just get him to slow down and calm down on offense.
Funny, defense and offense are such different mentalities.  The guys that can truly play both ways well are special.

Re: Wow.
Great insights--all so very true.  As his playing time increases, I believe he will start making better decisions on offense.

Re: Wow.
Question: Can Cisco develop into the same kind of player as Michael Cooper. (For those of you old enough to remember a guy that could straight up guard a dude.)

Re: Wow.
There was a clock controversy. Take a look at the replay, when the 2nd free throw is made there is .8 left, but when Miller inbounds it, it changes to .7!!!  Clearly this would have given Salmons the extra tenth of a second to get the shot off in time. Thus sending the game into overtime. And nobody else saw it except for me. I'm furious.

Re: Wow.
You never know with these Kings. They may look like Dallas one night and then worse than Memphis on another night offensively and defensively. You never know with this team. If the Kings are not close to the playoffs by the start of April, then its really in our best interest to play the young guys and tank the season, if we are five games out of the eighth spot.

Re: Wow.
I aint ready to call Bibby's stroke back yet. It was one game where he had flashes of last year. Let's not kid ourselves with Bibby's stroke, you were going up against a team with one of the most porous perimeter D's. I'd like to see how the Bibster plays against the defense of Kidd tonight b4 I make any conclusions.

Re: Wow.
Well, did you see? Ready to make any conclusions? I think it is safe to say that given Bibby's defensive,... uh, struggles, unless he hits ALL of his shots, he is probably a liability.
