Wayman Tisdale Has Knee Cancer
A broken leg just might save Wayman Tisdale's life.
The long-time former King, after breaking his leg following a fall down a flight of stairs in February, has been found to have a malignant mass below his right knee. Had he not broken his leg, it's possible the cancer would have spread and become life threatening, but he is now undergoing chemotherapy and is expected to undergo surgery this May.
Tisdale spent parts of six seasons for the Kings, from the 1998-99 season to the 1993-94 campaign, averaging 16 to 20 points a game, leading the team in scoring in 1989-90, and routinely shooting above 50%.
Tisdale is expected to make a full recovery.

Re: Wayman Tisdale Has Knee Cancer
You gotta love a guy who played in the league for years, and can sit back and do nothing, instead decided to pursue a music career.
His stuff is much, much better than some other players, namely the TruWarier.
