Welcome to the Playoffs, Warriors Fans

Gut-wrenching pain. Unthinkable agony. Constant second-guessing and self-loathing. The highest blood pressure in your life. Serious anger towards men you've never met. A roller coaster of emotions, start to finish.

Yeah, that's the NBA playoffs. Enjoy them, Warriors Nation.

Re: Welcome to the Playoffs, Warriors Fans
I live in the bay area right now and a lot of my friends here are warriors fans, so I consider the warriors to be my adopted team for the playoffs.  Having said that, it is extremely annoying to watch yet another team I root for fail to finish games down the stretch.  I don't really think the warriors will win this series.  They were riding and emotional high against the mavs and I don't see the Jazz having mental breakdowns and fail to finish.

Re: Welcome to the Playoffs, Warriors Fans
You pretty much captured every emotion I had last night. Really tough game to watch, not the least of  which was Dee Brown's injury. And I hate to say it but the Fisher story got to me - just for one night though. Friday night I'm all Dubs again.

Re: Welcome to the Playoffs, Warriors Fans
And how many missed freethrows down the stretch?  Seriously, this is like a time warp back to the early 2000s.

Re: Welcome to the Playoffs, Warriors Fans
The Warriors have to feel like they should be up 2-0.  It will be interesting to see the confidence they bring to game 3. Do they come out with reckless abandon? - (the attitude that has got them where they are.)  Or do they come out stiff?

They are a great home team. So, I think they will come out strong and hold serve.

Re: Welcome to the Playoffs, Warriors Fans
I think the Warriors will return to Utah with this thing 2-2.
I wish for the Greg Oden Era here in Sacramento.

Re: Welcome to the Playoffs, Warriors Fans
In yesterday's daily link dump I think (the scout's view) said it all about the dubs and Baron Davis. If he doesn't clearly outplay Deron Williams the dubs will have a hard time winning. And nothing about yesterday changed my mind. Besides how can you hate a 2nd yr guy who is clutch tying the game going to his left (off hand) and hitting an off balance 15 footer?

Re: Welcome to the Playoffs, Warriors Fans
I really, really hope we get a versatile big man this offseason...

Artest and Bibby for Odom and Brown???

I'd do that in a heartbeat...

I wish for the Greg Oden Era here in Sacramento.

What does this have to do with anything in this thread?

Re: Welcome to the Playoffs, Warriors Fans
I guess I was musing about Carlos Boozer and and thought about this team simultaneously at the same time and thought we could use a versatile and fluid big man. That's all.
I wish for the Greg Oden Era here in Sacramento.

Re: Welcome to the Playoffs, Warriors Fans
sandwich.

But honestly, the W's will tie up the series.  Their homecourt is early 2000's Arco-esque. But losing a game on free throws has to sting a little bit more.
