Last week, my buddy Matt Watson talked to John Salmons about his role and his season-to-date. Great piece from a guy who rarely gets interviewed.
The latest edition of the Blogger MVP Rankings is up at Pickaxe and Roll, which is SB Nation's (fairly) new Nuggets blog.
Hardwood Paroxysm got some bloggers together to talk about rebuilding models for franchises.
At BallHype, we're on Volume 2 of the Spotlight Series. This edition will feature top sportsbloggers talking about books. Bethlehem Shoals of FreeDarko kicked it off this morning. Make sure to set aside a few minutes for this one; it's brilliant.
This piece sums up blogging in a nutshell.
Elie Seckbach interviews Sam Amick, with a Ron Artest cameo. As I've said before, Amick's a great guy and (obviously) a hard worker. Also, go Hornets.

I disagree with you. Sam Smith makes sense more than just once in awhile. He's GOD! Anyway he's not as terrible as say, Bill Plaschke, is he? Things is relative sir.

If we deal with the Lakers

I'd like to get Ronny Turiaf out of the deal. He would help us down low and has a lot of energy and upside.

Agreed

He reminds me of Mikki, a bit. Not the bench energy and hair, but the knowledge of his role, which is basically to be the dirt dog in the paint.

Jayda Evans talked to Spencer Hawes. The interesting quote of note is this:

Theus wanted to play Hawes heavy minutes, but he couldn't after the rookie underwent left knee surgery and missed training camp and the first four games of the season. Hawes has averaged 2.7 points, 2.0 rebounds and 8.1 minutes.

"He doesn't have the luxury of being with a team that can wait when he's in the game," Theus said. "Usually I'm trying to find minutes with Spence. If things don't go right, a bad five-minute stretch for us could be devastating. [But] where he's got to make his biggest improvement is on the defensive end. The defensive end will get him more minutes. And he's got to get a little stronger."
