I like
Bibby raising his hands: "No, pass ME the ball."

Mikki almost played better defense than the Sonics on the play. Please, lead, follow or get the hell out of the way.

I thought
I saw him saying "Let's go home!" after hitting the big shot. No crab walk. No chest beating. "Let's go home!" Me likey.

Let's go home!
Indeed he did.  I  Martin more every day because of this.

Two years ago, I didn't see him as untradeable, but I do now.

I like this kid more every day.

God bless you, Corliss. You always played as though you knew how expensive my tickets were. -section214

Martin
The best part of the shot is subsequent "let's go home" to the rest of the team. It's great that we finally have the other clutch player we needed 5 years ago.

Rhymes with "pig calls"
Was it just me or did I see Bibby's shoulders slump when Kevin made the shot? Didn't see him in the celebration either. hmm.

by Kfan in Korea on Jan 28, 2008 1:56 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

That's because
Bibby's personality rhymes with "elfish brick."

ROTGLMFAO
I have no words.  You, sir, have come up a new term.  The internet does not yet own you.

WTF does ROTGLMFAO mean, anyway?

Urban dictionary awaits your response...

Come on.....
Bibby, Artest and Martin all had huge shots down the stretch. There was a ton of chest pounding and celebrating the whole fourth. To single out Bibby as a non-celebrator is ridiculous, we should be talking about his clutch shooting, Millers big defensive play and Mikki Moore wondering the court aimlessly like the Incredible Hulk. The Kings should have blown the Sonics out but at this point a win is a win.

You're absolutely right.  There was absolutely too much chest pounding and celebrating in the 4th quarter.  It was infuriating.

Yes, the Kings should have pounded the Sonic's but they didn't.  Yet, they won.

I'm happy.

May I say, that I'm not especially pleased, yet still happy the Kings won?

Bibby did cheer (rather openly)
Did I have a different league-pass feed than the other out-of-towners?  I saw the Sonics broadcast, and Bibby openly cheered Martin's shot and make.  Was this not on the home broadcast, because it was very clear.  Bibby had his fist in the air well before the show went down.
Wait....Why is everybody clapping? Everyone around me is clapping.... I guess I should be clapping too... GO LAKERS!!! I hate living in So Cal

No video league pass in Korea, only radio for me
I was just commenting on the vid in this post. I could see Bibby calling for the ball, Kmart shoot, it goes in. Kmart turns with hand in air and Bibby is just standing there, then chest bumps and high fives from team mates, none of which are Bibby.

Glad to hear he wasn't being an elfish brick.

by Kfan in Korea on Jan 29, 2008 2:15 AM PST up reply actions   0 recs

I didn't notice Bibby sulking either
I'll watch the end of the game again to be sure. I live in Seattle so that's what I got.

On the subject of Bibby sulking
I have the game on DVR so I watched the end of the game. You see Bibby putting his hand up. I see why Martin had to take the shot. Bibby was far too slow getting down the court to merit a kick-out. Mikki forced the shot to be as bad as it was. What a stupid play on his part.

That being said I didn't see any single footage of Bibby after the shot live or anything else. I don't think that was a function of FSN covering Bibby or anything. It had more to do with with where he was in relation to Kmart at the time.

Kmart's clutch!

What I saw
wasn't Bibby's fist in the air celebrating. I saw his hand in the air, calling for the ball.

That said, I'm sure he joined the celebration and even said something kind about Martin being the go-to guy in the clutch. Y'know. Passing the torch.

Cause that's what elfish bricks do.

Don't make me come in there!

by LeaguePassAddict on Jan 29, 2008 9:56 AM PST up reply actions   0 recs

I dont know what Bibby did
I never saw any footage of what he did after the fact. I also don't care what Bibby did as it's hardly important.

Was it just me or did I see Bibby's shoulders slump when Kevin made the shot? Didn't see him in the celebration either. hmm.
Kfan's comment is what I actually responded to. Thought I would look again since I didn't get the comcast feed and let know if there was anything of interest on FSN NW. There wasn't.
