Minnesota can hurt the Kings, as any NBA team can. The method? Al Jefferson on the block. Al Jefferson on the offensive glass. Al Jefferson driving the lane. Al Jefferson in the triple-threat from 12 feet. Al Jefferson boxing out the defensive glass. Al Jefferson frustrating Brad Miller into a tech.

But the Kings (assuming Kevin Martin plays -- he was listed as questionable this morning) should be able to fire up 130 points on this team. Unless Jefferson can kick down 40, or Randy Foye gets fiery along with Rashad McCants and a friend... Minnesota isn't scoring that high. Even against the woeful (whoa! that's awful!) Kings D.

I was amazed to see how much the Kings are favored in the money line. That means if you bet for the Kings to win (no point spread at all, just straight up win) you have to bet $340 in order to win $100.

But onto the real order of buisness..No one ever said (at least I hope they didnt say) that he isnt a real player. The complaint many had with him was that down the stretch of tight games he 'tends' to dissapear. Which regardless of what you or anyone else says, he has been doing this year. Although it is True that it has alot to do with Theus & Artest!

ButTonight he BALLED out and 48pts on 23 shots, truly remarkable! Amazing job of getting to the line and carrying the team! He did everything he could...and we still lost...to the worst team in the League!!

It's pretty sad. We are a bad team. Even worse without Artest. Too bad we didn't trade Bibby, Miller and Artest last year, so we'd be in better shape for ping-pong balls this year.

I just wish we'd blown it up as soon as it became obvious the Peja, Miller, Bibby big three wasn't going to compete. Instead we're being subjected to The Piece-meal rebuild of eternal mediocrity.

I was being sarcastic in the original post, and perhaps a bit dickish myself. But he has tended to disappear in the 4th this year.

Some have blamed Kmart for it, I don't agree with that. I put the blame entirely on Theus. He needs to be running plays for Kmart. And if he has been calling them and Artest breaks the play, then Theus needs to pull Ron out of the game. He's the coach, he needs to be the one running the show.
