Brad's a bonehead
Another epic Suns / Nuggets game on NBA TV (Nugs won).
Wondering if the Giants are going to score a run this year (15 innings and counting).

Yeah-
The Rockets glued Battier to Martin in the 3rd. They seem very comfortable with Ron taking the shots.

Shelden
Reggie bagged on him for being out of shape after the game. I think Reggie needs to give the kid a break, and some time on the floor with the starters.
Most of the time, when our subs get into trouble and play poorly, it's with an all-subs lineup or pretty close. So there's a lack of leadership and it can go downhill quickly. I think that's an area where Reggie could improve and still get the kids some minutes.

Gotta Love Your Sacramento Kings!
Sure am glad to have the chance to say that again; Strange game, but it was a "quality" win...I'll take it!
My draft pick:I want some Love, baby!I can so see him with the Kings with those passes he makes.

So...
Does that mean I get to see a Beno-Douby-Martin-Shelden-Shawes lineup for like seven straight mintues? cuz that would be awesome.

Wrong Way to Play the Kids
So you play the starters and let Shelden come in for Mikki and then Mikki comes back in with Hawes replacing Miller and then Brad comes back in and Douby comes in for Kmart, etc. These guys can be successful when they are better integrated with the starters.

Problem is
Tough to play the kids with the starters when the starters aren't spending much time on the floor.

I Hear You
It's like when you go out to shoot hoops and you find yourself playing with four short fat guys who can't dribble and you're taking on five speed merchants. It is hard to excel in that scenario.
Stick a scrub with four decent to excellent players, and it's a lot easier to blend in and contribute.

Is anybody taking notes here?
The only problem I see with your argument is the starting part. You have to earn the right to start, and if Theus sees Williams as being out of shape, he won't get a start this season unless there's no other option.
Douby, I'm not sure we keep him anyway. He really doesn't do anything consistently well, terrible ball handling, a shooter, but inconsistent, can't finish at the hoop.
Hawes, not sure you can start him yet, but when he comes back, he needs more minutes so that he loses his "deer caught in the headlights" look when he first comes on the court.
Garcia and Salmons are getting decent minutes, but are you really going to start one of them ahead of Martin and Artest?
What I'd really like to see is Hawes and Miller spending some quality time on the court together. Maybe even bringing Mikki off the bench for the rest of the season. But I don't see how you reasonably start any of the other youngsters.

They Shouldn't Start
You may have misunderstood me. My argument is when to bring them off the bench and how to integrate them properly and effectively for both their development and the team's performance.
