Artest apologized
I don't know about you guys but I like the fact that he apologized and that he's willing to be a professional and move on. I hope it lasts
Ron Artest sent an e-mail apology out to the Kings on Monday just one week after expressing regret over his decision not to opt out and enter free agency, according to The Sacramento Bee.
"I do apologize for being mistakenly frustrated with the Kings," Artest wrote in the e-mail. "It was a mistake that I made and I will move on from."
Apparently, Artest believed that remaining in Sacramento this season would give him the chance to sign a long-term, lucrative extension, but the team reportedly isn't interested in giving him that kind of contract.
"I had wrong info about extension options and it could have cost me a new deal," Artest wrote. "I was informed that the Kings had me in their long-term plans, so that's why I decided to stay in contract. I just wanted to show loyalty."
"However, when I spoke to the Kings, that was not an option and I grew frustrated with my decision immediately," he added.

Kings vs Spurs
Let's support our dance team against the San Antonio Spurs. Hey, if we can't eliminate them in the playoffs, we might as well eliminate them here right?

The best team under .500
I've read in a forum that most non-Kings fans consider us the best Western team (some even say we're the best team) with a record below .500.

Artest to have surgery
Kings forward Ron Artest will need surgery for a chipped bone in his right elbow.
A timetable for the procedure and his return have yet to be determined.
Artest, who missed the first seven games this season while serving a suspension and one other to be with his sick daughter, sat out Friday's loss to the 76ers because of the injury.

The reason why Kenny isn't playing
"I am always going to play the guys who are deserving to play. No one is going to play just because they are a star or they make a certain amount of money."

The Sacramento Kings signed swingman Dahntay Jones on Monday and waived center Darryl Watkins.
Jones, a first-round draft pick by Boston in 2003, spent his first four NBA seasons with the Memphis Grizzlies , averaging 5.1 points, 1.6 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 221 games.
Watkins, a rookie from Syracuse, played in nine games with the Kings.
