A Lazy Survey of Lottery Picks

My new "Around the Basketblogosphere" column is up at Courtside Times:

Some teams picking high in the first round of the NBA draft luck out and hit jackpot. Others, well they can keep on pumping nickels in, because it ain't happening.

Patience is a virtue when it comes to judging Association freshmen. But in the case of a couple NBA neophytes, you don't need it.

If this is your cup of tea, go read it and support non-corporate-conglomeration sportswriting.

(On an only slightly related tangent, I'll be switching out the Francisco Garcia-Kevin Martin poll soon. KMart is down a couple votes after being slightly up most of the week. Pretty interesting to see how confused we all are about our young swingmen.)
