Database/All-Time Lists Updated

Even though the season ended a month and a half ago, the Sacramento Kings Database and All-Time List are now updated!

The database is an Excel spreadsheet that documents every Sacramento Kings player's season-by-season and Sacramento career stats, as well as coaching records. It's available for free at the above link.

The All-Time List is actually a couple of top ten lists in various categories. Right now, they are pretty basic. But they're updated! And there was actually a fair amount of movement on the lists this season.

Some highlights:

  • Peja Stojakovic, of course, bested Mitch Richmond's career games played mark by one, finishing his Kings career (for now) with 518 games played. The Rock still leads Peja in pretty much every other category, though, including starts, points, rebounds, steals, and fouls.
  • Mike Bibby has jumped ahead of Vlade Divac, Lionel Simmons, Wayman Tisdale, and Doug Christie for 4th on career minutes played with the Sacramento Kings.
  • Mike Bibby is thisclose to being the #1 assist man and #4 scorer in Sacramento Kings history.
  • Corliss snuck into the top 10 on the career blocks list! I knew his season wasn't wasted.
Hopefully, we'll get some more interesting lists up on the All-Time page this offseason. Feel free to make suggestions, and definitely make sure you download the database and play with the numbers. Excellent time-waster.

(And even when this post leaves the frontpage, you can always access the database and all-time lists via the link on the right, in the top spot in the "Links" block.)
