GAME 13 at Portland, Preview & Open Game Thread

New, comments

A holiday recipe:

INGREDIENTS
1 terrible road team (preferably 0-6 away from home)
1 good home team (4-1 or better will do)
2 cups of LaMarcus Aldridge
1 cup of King killer (Joel Przybilla available widely)
900 lbs of Hydra
1 whole ham (Theus brand preferred)
a dash of anger* (family-less holiday works best)

* To cut sodium in recipe, replace anger with lack of Ron Artest.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Grease 8x11 baking dish.
  3. Mix ingredients and spread evenly in dish.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 48 minutes or until the Hydra is cooked through.
  5. Let cool 15-20 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley.
  7. Enjoy.

The game is at 7 p.m. I predict low interest worldwide. Actually, the teams are evenly matched... until you compensate for Portland's strength up front and the Kings' lack of backcourt defense. In other words, Aldridge and Pryzbilla should outscore the Kings front line and the Kings backcourt might get matched shot for shot by Brandon Roy and Martell Webster.

Blazers Edge's preview is far less silly than this. Enjoy, and go Kings. They've got to win on the road at some point, right?
