Kevin Martin, Playing 3-on-3 in Zanesville

We all love Kevin Martin for many reasons, not the least of which is his tremendous talent. But he's certainly endeared himself to Sacramento fans with his down-to-earth personality.

Well, they like that about him in Zanesville, too. He played in a 3-on-3 tournament there this weekend.

"It's great to have him come home," said Junior McCutcheon, who officiated Martin's afternoon game. "For what he does, signing autographs for all of those kids is great."

The fact he doesn't turn away autograph seekers isn't lost on fans, even a 12-year-old like Zanesville's Tre Hreha.

"He's nice to talk to," Tre said. "Even though he's got a lot of money, he doesn't make himself out to be better than everyone else. ... He's doing something good with his life and people look up to him."

Kevin's also playing is Sacramento's pro league this month. We'll have more info on that soon.
