Kings Look To Enter All-Star Break On A High Note

The Sacramento Kings play their final game before the All-Star break on Wednesday against the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavericks edged the Kings last week thanks to an explosion from Jose Barea. DeMarcus Cousins was ejected in the final minutes on a technical foul later rescinded by the league, and though the Kings held down Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas was too much.

The Kings were dreadful without Tyreke Evans in Oklahoma City; the reigning R.O.Y. is marked as doubtful, though I have a sneaking suspicion he'll play. If he doesn't, given Francisco Garcia's continued absence, the Kings are quite likely toast. Luther Head and Jermaine Taylor, Lord bless him, did little (if anything) well against the Thunder. The Mavericks are better than the Thunder. Ergo, problems!

But if Evans plays, and Cousins plays well, now we're talking. Game's at 5:30. Game threads at 5:30 and 7. HighTops' scouting report. Let's go!
