Here We Stay night

All the planning is done, we're ready to go. The place is sold out (standing room only tickets have been released). Kings players and coaching staff know we're coming. KHTK, News10, Fox40, and the sacbee know we're coming. The city of Sacramento and the Maloof brothers know we're coming. Now it is up to US to make it happen. Here We Stay night is tomorrow and there's really not much to say but "thank you and wish us good luck"

It's been a truly incredible week trying to plan this out with so many other great fans. Every one of you guys have given this movement something: your time, your ideas, your money, and, hell, even some of your negativity that kept that fire in some of us burning. For that, I personally, thank you all. It has been a team effort and will most definitely (hey Bobby!) continue to be a team effort, tomorrow night and until the end of the season.

Don't ever let anyone tell you what we're doing won't matter; because it absolutely does. We've put the world on notice and we've let everyone know that SACRAMENTO Kings fans are not happy sitting on the side and letting things unfold. We're letting the NBA, the Kings organization, and the city of Sacramento know that we feel so strongly about this team that we're willing to fight for it, no matter how stacked the odds are against us, and no matter what the ultimate outcome is to this relocation saga.

I will never sit here and tell you that tomorrow night our actions will stop the Kings from leaving. For all we know, they're still gone at the end of the season, but you know what? No matter what happens in the future, we will all find some (whether small) satisfaction in knowing that we gave them our best shot. That Sacramento Kings fans don't just give up, but they go out swinging and giving the opposition hell. No matter what happens I'll hold my head high and be damn proud of being part of such a great group of people. I'm sincerely humbled and honored by going to battle with you all tomorrow. Let's do it for us and let's hope for the miracle.

If I may, I still need to ask you all a couple things: Tomorrow, if you're there, go fucking crazy. Even if you're the shiest person in the room, lead the chants. Be on top of your game and help us make this night a success. I won't lie, I'm nervous about the game and how the chanting is going to go, but I know once I see all of you guys right there with me, all my concerns will go away and we'll push forward together. Help me out and I'll promise to help you all out; that's gonna be the key to our night. Let's make it happen, everyone!

And if you are not able to make it, because you had to work, or because you had other commitments, or because you live in Australia or the Netherlands, then just watch and root for us from afar. We'll have you there in spirits and hope to represent you to the fullest. Thank you all for your effort, we'll try to make you proud.

Here We Stay! Here We Stay!!! Here We Stay!!!!!!

Note: for those who may still want to volunteer but never sent me an email, we'll be meeting up at 5.30-5.45 outside the arena next to the will call box office/kings store. For those who are just bringing in fliers on your own but won't be meeting with us before, check around your sections and hand chant fliers to those who don't have any. Thanks!
