The Sacramento Kings will indeed get a pre-NBA Draft visit from UConn guard Kemba Walker on Monday, June 13. Walker was famously due to work out with Jimmer Fredette on Thursday, but pulled out for reported scheduling reasons.
Walker will instead go against 6'4 Justin Hurtt of Tulsa, who is not on any draft board.
Like the Thursday workout, there will four forwards/centers invited, too, and this crop is interesting. It's led by Nikola Vucevic of USC, who has risen up the most popular draft boards since testing and measuring well at the NBA Draft Combine. He'll go against Maryland's Jordan Williams, Washington's Matthew Bryan-Amaning and Washington State's DeAngelo Casto.
ESPN's Chad Ford has reliably had the Kings taking Walker at No. 7 in the few most recent incarnations of his mock draft. Vucevic doesn't figure to last until No. 35, but Williams could. The others don't figure to be drafted higher than No. 35, if at all.
