Another Night To Fight: Here We Stay At City Council, Tuesday at 6 PM

We're again joining with Here We Stay and Think Big Sacramento to make our presence as fans felt at the Sacramento City Council meeting Tuesday at 6 p.m. at 915 I Street. The council will be asked to approve funds to hire consultants to make sure Sacramento taxpayers are protected and that the city gets the most bang for its buck with regards to parking privatization and other items involving public resources. This is an important next step.

We're asking fans who can attend to do so, even if you don't want to speak to the council members. Just showing up in Kings purple or clapping when someone makes a good point is VALUABLE. Of course, we would also encourage you to fill out a speaker card and make the points we all know like a nursery rhyme. This is where the rubber meets the road, where we're asking the elected representatives to take a stand for a better Sacramento. This is an important stepping stone on the path to a new entertainment and sports complex.

Even if you can't attend, please help spread the word, both on the web and among your circles of friends, family, neighbors and co-workers. Know a Kings fan that doesn't frequent StR, Bleed Black and Purple or Cowbell Kingdom? Tell them they can help save the Sacramento Kings by showing up at City Hall for a little while tonight.
