The Kings will continue their preseason with a match against the L.A. Lakers on Friday in Las Vegas. The game will be broadcast in Los Angeles on Time Warner Cable Sports Network; there is no T.V. coverage local to Sacramento, nor national coverage on NBA TV. The game is set to tip at 7 p.m. Pacific. KHTK 1140 AM will have the local radio call.
The Kings will get a partial glimpse of the new Lakers: Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash and Pau Gasol have all been playing, but Dwight Howard will not appear on Friday. As we know, DeMarcus Cousins has a deep respect and appreciation for Pau Gasol, so that will be an interesting match-up to watch. In addition, seeing whichever point guard starts for the Kings deal with Nash should be a treat. (Aaron Brooks was Nash's back-up in Phoenix two seasons ago.)
We'll have our traditional game thread at 7. You'll be able to find it in this StoryStream or in the cover of the front page of Sactown Royalty.
