With just a day off from their last game against Atlanta, the Kings will be asked to bounce back against an even tougher opponent in the Brooklyn Nets. The game is scheduled for 3 p.m. Pacific on News10 and 1140 AM.
The Nets are 5-2 on the year and are current winners of four straight. They've had a very home friendly schedule to start though, no doubt to showcase the sparkling new Barclay's Center in Brooklyn. Today's game in Sacramento is the first of a three-game California road trip. The Nets played the Kings just once last year and easily won. The Nets have even more weapons this year with the additions of Joe Johnson, Andray Blatche and a healthy Brook Lopez.
The Kings will no doubt have their hands full trying to contain all of Brooklyn's weapons. Head Coach Keith Smart promised after Friday's loss to the Hawks that lineup changes would be coming. No word yet on what those lineup changes might be.
We'll have a game thread at 3 in the cover and in this StoryStream.
