Kings vs. Timberwolves: Turn the beat around!

New, comments

The Kings visit Minnesota on Friday, hoping to take advantage of Timberwolf injuries and get in the win column.

Brace Hemmelgarn-US PRESSWIRE

The Sacramento Kings' second game of the season comes Friday night in lovely Minneapolis against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The game's scheduled for 5 p.m. Pacific and will be carried live in HD on Comcast SportsNet. Sports 1140 will have the radio call. You can also find the game on League Pass and League Pass Broadband.

The Kings are 0-1 on the road this young season, narrowly losing to a mysterious Chicago Bulls club on Wednesday. Turnovers were a major Kings problem, especially for DeMarcus Cousins. A number of Kings not named Tyreke Evans also struggled on offense, and the assist numbers were painfully low. It's hard to tell whether the Kings' defense looked good, because it's hard to know if the Bulls are going to be even average on offense until Derrick Rose returns.

I predict that the Wolves will not be even average on offense before Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio return. Both are out for the time being.

We'll have a game thread at 5, in the cover and in this stream.
