Sacramento Kings G/F Tyreke Evans left Sunday's embarrassing, 122-97, late in the first quarter and did not return after his left knee injury flared back up, according to Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee.
Evans was able to make it back for two full games after missing five of the previous six due to his knee troubles but left just 10 minutes into Sunday's game when it became too much to handle once again. With the nagging nature of the injury, it's highly unlikely that Evans will be available for Monday's game against the Phoenix Suns. And with the Kings facing a busy week with four games on tap, it's possible they elect to hold out Evans even longer.
There is currently no word if the Kings plan to send Evans for an MRI or any sort of further evaluation.
The fourth-year, over-sized point guard has 15.1 points, 3.3 assists and 4.8 rebounds this season with the first two numbers being career-lows.
