The Sacramento Kings, on an incredible winning streak of one, face the Orlando Magic at home on Friday. The game is set for 7 p.m. Pacific on Comcast SportsNet California and 1140 AM.
It's the Kings' last home game before setting off on a four-game road trip. After Friday's game, Sacramento will play 11 of its next 16 games on the road. The Kings are currently 0-6 on the road. You sense why we might be concerned.
With a win over Orlando, the Kings can move to .500 -- 6-6 -- at home on the season, which would be excellent. The Kings went 16-17 at home last season; we'd hoped, I think, they'd be above .500 here this season.
This is the fourth of a five-game road trip for Orlando. The Magic beat the Lakers and Warriors before falling to the Jazz on Wednesday. On the season, Orlando is a surprising 7-11, and 3-6 on the road.
Barring any technological hiccups, we'll have a game thread at 7. We'll have fan predictions soon, as well.
