The Sacramento Kings have another lovely opportunity to pick up a road win on Friday as they'll face the Toronto Raptors. The game is scheduled for 4 p.m. Pacific on Comcast SportsNet California and 1140 AM.
The Kings won their second road game of the season on Wednesday in Cleveland. Notably, the Kings' offense -- which has been a disaster away from Sacramento this season -- wasn't great on Wednesday, but was good enough. The key to victory was really poor Cleveland shooting and a distinct lack of Kings turnovers (only 10 in 91 possessions). The Kings starters played pretty good defense and protected the ball. It won't beat every team -- the Kings shot pretty poorly themselves -- but it'll beat teams like the Cavs and maybe the Raptors.
But probably not the Raptors, who are a stunning 8-2 in their last 10 games and have won three straight. And while Cleveland was 3-10 at home before Wednesday's game, Toronto is 8-5 at the Air Canada Centre. So, you know, there you go.
We'll have fan predictions soon, a game thread at 4 and recaps to follow.
