Andre Miller is likely on his way out of Denver after the veteran point guard was suspended for two games by the Nuggets on Thursday. Miller has his first career DNP-CD on Wednesday as the Nuggets lost their eighth straight game; he and coach Brian Shaw reportedly barked in the locker room afterward.

Sacramento GM Pete D'Allessandro was a longtime executive with the Nuggets and has long been an admirer of Miller's. The Kings would love to use Miller as a veteran mentor for young point guard Isaiah Thomas, league sources said.

Miller makes $5 million this season and is on the books for $4.6 million in 2014-15. Only $2 million of that is guaranteed, however; Miller can be waived by the end of June, per ShamSports.
