Kings vs. Sixers final score: Philadelphia wins 113-104, because defense

There's no 'd' in Sacramento, obviously.

Ed Szczepanski-USA TODAY Sports

The Kings are horrible at defense, and the Sixers beat them 113-94 in Sacramento on Thursday just to prove it. Thaddeus Young had 28 and Evan Turner added 24 as the Sixers shot an effective field goal percentage of better than .500. DeMarcus Cousins finished with 33 points and 14 rebounds for the Kings, and Rudy Gay and Isaiah Thomas put up big offensive numbers, too. Jimmer Fredette had his best game of the season with 15 on 5-9 shooting.

The Sixers (especially Turner) hit some tough shots, but at the same time he, Young and Tony Wroten got to the rim at will. Without guards who can stop the ball or a big who can deter layups, the Kings give up way too many easy buckets to opponents.

The Kings are 10-21 and continue to lose to bad teams at home. Also, the Kings beat the freaking Heat at home. I don't know either.
