A play that perfectly encapsulates the 2013-2014 season.

This play happened two nights ago and you've probably seen it 100 times by now. But if you're anything like me, you can't stop watching it!!! After my 2000th viewing (give or take) I realized why I was so enamored with the play and why I needed to preserve this play on the pages of StR forever.

I could seriously watch this :30 seconds of glory on a loop everyday until the season ends. The Kings haven't won much this season but this play right here... this frozen moment in time... to me it perfectly encapsulates the 2013-2014 season in that it's been SOOOO much more fun, and SOOO much more hopeful than recent seasons past. Anytime I'm feeling down, or questioning the direction of the franchise, I'm going to watch this play and think about massive the overhaul Petey D has pulled off in one season's time. I'll think about the sudden surplus of athleticism in Sacramento. I'll think about the promise of the Big 3. And, finally i'll think about how someone tried to take ALL OF THIS away from us.

What play will you remember from this season?

Here's to many more years of plays like this!

Now sit back and enjoy. JT gets the block, Thrilly D grabs the loose ball, throws it ahead to Isaiah, and the fun begins!!
