Report: Kings sign Nick Wiggins, older brother of Andrew Wiggins

Sacramento seems to be filling out their summer league roster with several undrafted prospects today.  Earlier we saw that the Kings had signed Sim Bhullar and now Sean Deveney is reporting that Nick Wiggins, the older brother of #1 pick Andrew Wiggins, will play for the Kings in Vegas Summer League.

So what's going on here aside from the Kings' sudden infatuation with Canada (Stauskas, Bhullar and Wiggins are all Canadian)?  Nick is not nearly as talented as his younger brother, playing as a role player on a very good Wichita State team this past year.  He's a 6'6 shooting guard who averaged 5.0 points in just 14.0 minutes per game in two years of college.  His shooting is also an issue, as last season he only shot 25.3% from three (down from 41.9% his freshman year) and more disturbingly, just 58.7% from the line, an awful number for a guard.

Like his brother, Wiggins' greatest potential lies on the defensive end, although he's not a prolific shotblocker or pickpocket.
