DeMarcus Cousins Apologizes for Outburst After Spurs Loss

As if today couldn’t get any more interesting and/or depressing, DeMarcus Cousins just issued an apology via what looks like a text message directed to Yahoo! Sports’ Marc Spears.

"It is no secret that we are all frustrated with losing – me more than anyone. I let my frustrations get the best of me in the locker room after the San Antonio loss – that is my bad. For the record, my frustration is not about any one person or player or coach. There is no one person to blame. All of us are accountable. My frustration is that we are 1-7 simple as that."

Someone apologized and is acting (at least somewhat) accountable for this mess! How refreshing. I feel a little better. I cannot wait to see how this team responds to all of this garbage tonight.
