The Kings can't seem to catch a break. Darren Collison remains out with a hamstring injury and now it appears the Kings have also lost Rudy Gay for tonight's game, as he's suffering from a bout of gastroenteritis, a.k.a. stomach flu.
Rudy posted the above image to his Snapchat earlier today, and the Kings confirmed his illness shortly there after, listing him as doubtful to play. In Gay's place we'll likely see Omri Casspi get his first start of the season. Casspi has played well so far this season, averaging a career-high 10.7 points (52.9% from the field and 57.1% from three) and 6.3 rebounds in 24.4 minutes per game off the bench. I also expect we'll see more of veteran Caron Butler, who is currently averaging just 9.6 minutes a game and has only appeared in five games.
In good news, it looks like Seth Curry will play, which will provide some much needed rest for Rajon Rondo.
