Where do we go from here?

I'm truly at a loss right now. This version of the Sacramento Kings isn't the worst team I've rooted for. They have far more talent that previous rosters. They demonstrate moments of transcendent basketball. And then they screw it all up.

This season has been the most frustrating and aggravating experience I can remember as a Kings fan, relocation drama excluded.

I'm not sure what the Kings should do next. Do they fire yet another head coach? Do they trade away key pieces of the roster, such as Rudy Gay? Do they blow the whole thing up and trade DeMarcus Cousins? Or do they ride it out as the team implodes upon itself, in an effort to show organizational patience?

I honestly don't know.

None of the listed options seems good. The Kings are painted into a corner, and there's no clear path to fixing it. Maybe this is all just an overreaction to a couple losses. God knows we as a fan base have become prone to such emotional swings. Maybe 2016 makes us forget the mess that 2015 has been.

I hope that happens. But for the first time in a long time, I don't feel hopeful.
