The Kings chances of surprising the Grizzlies in Memphis just took a turn for the worse, even though they weren't good in the first place. The Kings have announced that DeMarcus Cousins will be sitting out of the game to rest. Cousins has been dealing with an assortment of injuries throughout the season and given that the Kings don't have much to play for, I expect we'll see another game or two before the season ends where Cousins and possibly others are given the opportunity to rest.
With Cousins out, the Kings will most likely seek to utilize Ryan Hollins and Reggie Evans more often. It's also possible that we could get our first on-court David Wear sighting should the game turn into a laugher, which is quite the possibility with Cousins out.
