When the Kings traded down in the 2016 draft, a notable piece of the trade was that the Kings had acquired the draft rights to Bogdan Bogdanovic from the Phoenix Suns. It was notable at the time, but in the weeks since Bogdan has given Kings fans reason to be genuinely excited. On Sunday Bogdan gave Kings fan more reason to get excited, dropping 21 points, eight rebounds, and three assists for the Serbian national team's victory over the Czech Republic. The victory propelled the Serbian national team into the Olympics, where they'll be in the same group as the United States.

You can watch highlights from the game below, including some nice glimpses of what Bogdan can bright to the table. We'll choose to ignore the terrible turnover included in the highlights.

Per previous comments from Vlade Divac, the Kings expect Bogdanovic to join the Kings next summer. We'll continue to keep an eye on him in the Olympics, and in the coming year.
