The opening ceremonies of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro are tonight, but for Kings fans, the games don’t really begin until tomorrow, when DeMarcus Cousins steps onto the floor for Team USA. Kings fans should also pay attention to Serbia, as Bogdan Bogdanovic, acquired by the Kings in a draft night trade, is set to make his Olympic debut as well. Bogdanovic led Serbia in Scoring and Assists during the Olympic qualifying games. Both Serbia and USA are in Group A for the tournament and will face each other at least once.

August 6th: USA vs. China, 3 p.m. / Serbia vs. Venezuela, 6:30 p.m.
August 8th: Serbia vs. Australia, 10:15 a.m. / USA vs. Venezuela, 3 p.m.
August 10th: Serbia vs. France, 10:15 a.m. / USA vs. Australia, 3 p.m.
August 12th: USA vs. Serbia, 3, p.m.
August 14th: USA vs. France, 10:15 a.m. / Serbia vs. China, 6 p.m.

For those wondering how the format in the Olympics work, there’s the above Group Stage, in which each team is competing for points; Two points are given out for victories and one point is given for a loss. The top four teams in each group will advance to the knockout round, in which each game is win or go home. The knockout stage will begin on August 17th, with the gold medal game on August 21st.
