Garrett Temple out 2-3 weeks

Another big injury blow for the Kings

NBA: Cleveland Cavaliers at Sacramento Kings Sergio Estrada-USA TODAY Sports

In a huge blow to the already-hurting Sacramento Kings, guard Garrett Temple will be out 2-3 weeks after suffering a partial tear of his hamstring in Tuesday’s loss to the Houston Rockets. The injury was initially reported as a sprain, but an MRI on Wednesday confirmed the tear.

The Kings were already thin on the wing due to injuries. Rudy Gay tore his achilles and will be out the remainder of the season. Omri Casspi has also been dealing with a hamstring injury, and has no concrete timetable for his return.

So, uh, who’s ready for more Matt Barnes?
