The Sacramento Kings 2016-17 season is barely behind us. The body is still warm and we haven’t had a whole lot of time to analyze and assess the year. This seems like the perfect time to grade the team!
It was obviously a season in two parts. The trade of DeMarcus Cousins at All Star Weekend was a clear demarcation point in the season. Because of that, we’ll break this up into three parts. Grade the season up to the trade, after the trade, and as a whole.

Explain your votes in the comments section.
My personal votes are as follows: D, B, C
I think the Kings were disappointing at the break, but not an absolute failure. After the trade I was pleasantly surprised. The team was worse, but I enjoyed the team more and I like the direction the team is headed. And for the season overall I simply averaged the two. And don’t worry, in the coming days and we’ll we’ll do more in-depth analysis of the season that was.
