Bogdan Bogdanovic and Fenerbahce completed their first round sweep of Panathanaikos on Tuesday, advancing to the EuroLeague Final Four. The game itself wasn’t even close, which was kind of surprising as it was easily Bogdan’s worst game of the entire series.

After two career-games in a row to get big wins on the road, Bogdan struggled a bit more at home, tallying just 10 points on 3/9 shooting with a whopping 7 turnovers to just 2 assists. He did pull down 8 rebounds however, second only to former NBA player Ekpe Udoh.

Fenerbahce will now advance to what is the EuroLeague Final Four, either playing Real Madrid or Darussafaka Dogus Istanbul. That series is currently tied 1-1. Real Madrid is one of the favorites to win it all, and would be a really good test for Bogdanovic and his squad. Real features several former NBA players, including Anthony Randolph, Rudy Fernandez, Gustavo Ayon, Sergio Llull, and Andres Nocioni, El Chapu himself. Luka Doncic is their up and coming star however, and he has already put himself in the conversation to be the top pick in 2018 so that could be another guy to look at.

It should be noted that the remaining games in the EuroLeague championship series are single-elimination format. So no matter what, Bogdan will only have two more games to play (the losers of the semifinal will play a third place match). Fenerbahce’s Final Four game will take place on May 19th, so they’ve got plenty of time to rest up in between.
