The Kings made waves this offseason by both having what many considered to be an excellent draft and then going out and signing some quality veterans in Vince Carter, Zach Randolph and George Hill.
In case you missed the press conference introducing them yesterday, the Kings posted a video replay on YouTube which you watch above. After listening to them talk and watching both Z-Bo and Vince essentially coaching during the huddles of last night’s summer league game, I’m excited for what they bring to the table for this team.
The Kings are not going to be a good team next year, or maybe not even the year after that. But these three guys have all experienced winning and success at the highest level, and been through injuries, defeats and the whole gamut of NBA experiences. Along with guys like Garrett Temple and Kosta Koufos, they should provide a lot of support for Sacramento’s youth.
