The Kings announced their official preseason schedule today and it includes a six game slate from October 1st to October 12th.
The Kings start off preseason with a match against DeAndre Ayton and the Phoenix Suns in Phoenix on October 1st and then head over to Los Angeles play the new-look Lakers led by LeBron James on October 4th.
The very next day, October 5th, will be the controversial Kings vs. Warriors preseason game taking place at Key Arena in Seattle. Basketball in Seattle is always a good thing but the only way the NBA could have made it worse for Seattle fans is if the Kings were scheduled to play the Thunder.
On October 8th, the Kings play their first of two home games in preseason, facing Israeli team Maccabi Haifa for the 3rd time in four seasons. On October 11th, the Kings will play host to the Utah Jazz.
The Kings will round out the preseason on October 12th (that’s right, the Kings somehow managed to schedule two back-to-backs in preseason) in Portland against the Trail Blazers.
October can’t come soon enough.
