Earlier this summer we learned the Sacramento Kings would be bringing back their classic royal blue uniforms, and now the Kings have revealed a court to match. Simply put, the new court looks awesome. It’s a clean design that pays homage to the team’s earliest years in Sacramento.

The Kings also shared a time lapse of the new court being painted.

The court will be used for 17 games this season.
If you happen to be attending Fan Fest tonight, you can get a firsthand look at the new floor. (Typing that sentence made me think about the absurdity of saying “hey if you pay to go this event one of the perks is getting to look at a floor”. Sports are weird.)
Overall this set of uniforms and the court look fantastic. I think this design is far better than last season’s baby blue alternate designs.
In addition, the Kings announced a series of events they’ll be holding this season:
The Kings also announced they will host 35 special, experiential events over the course of the season aimed at celebrating more than three decades of Sacramento basketball with the best fans in the NBA. Select events will require a purchased ticket, with all proceeds benefitting the Kings Foundation, the nonprofit of the Sacramento Kings which serves as a positive agent of change throughout the Greater Sacramento area. Events will include the 3-on-3 Hoopfest competition as part of Fan Fest, a Kings-themed 5K walk/run, a special brunch with Kings Legends and current players, a Kings wellness-focused day of meditation, yoga and strength training, and more.
Details on the exact dates of those events were not released.
